BOUKA (Beach) MESSINI
It is 3 km south of the city (Messini), has magnificent golden sand and is 100 m. long. It offers free facilities to the visitors (changing rooms, sunshades, drinking water, W.C.) as well as recreation facilities, while it has been awarded the blue flag of Europe.

FINIKOUDAS (Village) METHONI
The great natural wealth and the incobarable advantage of Finikounda is its beaches and its crystal clean waters. The visitors get excited about the marvellous combination of nature, the green hills with the small streams which give the sensation of a ravine with their sparkling clean waters. The beach of this community, organised and nominated for the blue flag, stretches from the south part of the community to the west, where there is a fishing shetter which is also used by boats and yachts. Along the beach there are restaurants, cafes and confectionery shops next to the wave which compose the good quality touristic market of Finikounda.

FINIKOUDAS (Village) METHONI
On the route from Methoni
to Koroni and just before
we reach Finikounda, the beach called "Mavrovouni" is located. This is where a
long sandy beach starts that ends at the village of Finikounda and the location
"Anemomylos". It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Messinia.
KALAMATA (Town) MESSINIA
In the town of Kalamata there's an extensive 4 km beach with crystal clean waters, which has been awarded with the blue flags of Europe and has nothing to be envious of compared to the beaches of the islands of the Ionian and the Aegean sea. It has a shore full of colourful shells attracts thousands of Messinians and visitors of Messinia as this beach is in the town, in a very short distance from the castle. Along the beach there are many shops (restaurants, tavernas ) A', B' and C' class hotels as well as rooms to rent while night life by the beach of Kalamata has its own charm and beauty and satisfies all the preferencies. Mediterranean seals and turtles live in its sea while the tortoises caretta-caretta have a special place on its beach.

KORONI (Small town) MESSINIA
It is one of the most attractive beaches of Koroni and has been connected to many legends. From the rock of Artakio, which is covered with, springs sparkling clear water which is believed to have magical powers according to tradition; «the good fairy of Artaki is standing high up the rock with her golden hair on her shoulders, gives magical powers to the water and if anyone who's single sees her and drinks water in Koroni, he/she will get married» says one or the legends.

A beautiful sandy beach which stretches from the feet of the castle and reaches Southwest the country chapel of St. George. In the west part of Koroni, and below the castle and the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Eleistria and, for 4 kms stretches an endless, blue sea with golden beaches. It is the area Zaga with the beach Memi as its extension, which goes as far as Vasilitsi. It is also completed by the beautiful beaches of Faneromenis-Kalamakiou. The navies of Athena, Sparta, and later those of the Byzantines, Franks Venetians and French for whom Koroni had been a bone of contention, moored at the beach Zaga. The area Zaga-Memi has natural beauty since it is green with vineyards and olive trees as far as the shore, while along the coastline, there are others trees and bushes .. Today, it provides anchorage for many boats and yachts which belong to visitors.

KYPARISSIA (Small town) MESSINIA
Kyparissia combines the mountain with the sea because it has beautiful beaches, «rich» granular sand and a view of the Ionian Sea like Ae-Lagoudi, Terpsithea and Giannitsena. The Gulf of Kyparissia, with a beach that extends for many kilometres from Kyparissia to Elea, has organised beaches where the visitor can enjoy the sea and the sun.

On the right side of the road from Pylos
to Methoni, at the entrance of the town right across the football field, a dirt
road starts going to the west, that takes us close to a beautiful and shallow
bay with relatively warm waters, called "Papa Limna". It is a spectacular location
where one can swim, fish and of course, enjoy a beautiful sunset. The view to
the Ionian Sea is amazing.
Access from the parking to the bay is a bit rough. But the beauty of the landscape
will reward the visitor.

In the middle of the route from Methoni to Finikounda,
right next to the new road that was recently finished, we come across wonderful
beaches. The first one are the "Lampes"of Methoni. It is a small in
size pebbled beach. Up to now it is deserted with very few visitors.
VOIDOKILIA (Beach) PYLOS
In the north of Navarino there is the beach of Voedokilia which was first inhabited in the Protohellenic Era (2600-22000 B.C) as was the Cave of Nestora. It has a magnificent seashore with shallow and blue water, one of the best beaches of Greece. In the area of Yialova, and beside the beach, there is the salt lake of Divari which is the biggest aquatic area of Messinia.

VROMONERI (Settlement) GARGALIANI
In a short distance from the centre of Gargaliani, are situated the coastal areas of Golden Sand or "Eye" which terminates in Vromoneri. An endless beach with truly golden sand, receives of visitors daily in the summer thousands for its clean waters and its natural beauty. In the west of Gargaliani and in a 7km distance there are the sulphureous healing springs of Vromoneri, suitable for hepatic and arthritic conditions.

Salandi beach, which is 3 km long, has golden, granular sand and is crystal clear and calm in summer. This beach is between two rocks, those of St. Ascension and Mavrovounio where they have found Prehistoric settlements. The combination of its size with its syntheticity has turned it into a landscape of great natural beauty. There's an organised camping which welcomes lots of visitors.
