The National Marine Park of Alonnisos Northern Sporades, is the first Marine Park in Greece, and the greatest protected sea area in Europe (some 2,220 km2). Except the sea the Park includes the island of Alonissos, 6 smaller islands(Peristera, Kyra Panagia, Psathoura, Piperi, Skantzoura και Gioura) as well as 22 rocky islets.
