On an all-green plateau, near Ag.
Efimia, is situated the monastery of Thematon dedicated to Virgin Mary. It
was founded in the late 16th century and possessed large estate.
It is still active today and the visitor will be enchanted by the
breathtaking beauty of the scenery and the unique holm-oak forest.
