PERUGIA (Town) UMBRIA
Aulestes, a Tyrrhenian ally of Aeneas in Italy, is called a son of Tiberis and the nymph Manto, and brother of Ocnus. He was slain by Messapus, and was regarded as the founder of Perusia. (Virg. Aen. x. 207, xii. 290)
