Russian Association of Travel Industry (RATA)

Russian Association of Travel Agencies - RATA is the biggest union of companies dealing with the tourist business in Russia. RATA was founded in 1993. Since 1995 RATA is a member of the Universal Federation of Travel Agents' Associations (UFTAA), since 1997 RATA is a member of World Tourism Organisation (WTO). Today it consolidates more then 800 travel companies, hotels, sanatoriums, as well as educational institutions, tourist mass media, insurance and transport companies co-operating with tourist business, including about 100 St. Petersburg companies.
