Domaine Zafeirakis

Domaine Zafeirakis Vineyard and Winery is situated in Tyrnavos, a charming region in Thessaly, Greece. The Zafeirakis family has a remarkable history spanning over 100 years of practicing viticulture. Domaine Zafeirakis oversees more than 12 hectares of vineyards, primarily in Paleomylos and Kampilagas. These vineyards are home to a variety of grapes, including indigenous Greek varieties like Limniona and Malagousia, as well as international selections like Chardonnay and Syrah. Christos Zafeirakis, a fourth-generation winemaker, planted the first organic vineyard at the estate in 2005.

The winery is conveniently located next to the vineyards, ensuring minimal transportation time during harvest. It features a state-of-the-art 2000m2 facility with modern machinery and an underground cellar where wines mature in oak barrels and amphorae. Additionally, there's a 250m2 wine tasting room with picturesque views of the surrounding vineyards and orchards, accommodating up to 60 guests. Wine tastings are available daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekend appointments can be arranged upon request. Domaine Zafeirakis offers catering services featuring local products, enhancing the wine tasting experience with exquisite cuisine.
