The Archaeological Museum of Philippoi

KRINIDES (Small town) KAVALA
  This museum was built in 1961. It hosts finds from the Hellenistic, Roman and Paleochristian periods unearthed in the town of Philippoi and from the prehistoric settlement of Dikili Tas.
  Among the most important finds exhibited are:
•Fragment of a decree by Alexander the Great
•Grave stele of Kleomoiris
•Votive relief of a Hero-horseman
•A marble portrait bust of Leucius Caesar
•The founder's (ctetor) inscription detached from a mosaic floor
