  Bali is set around three small coves: the first has a pebbly beach with several tavernas and a luxury hotel; the original village is in the second cove where most of the local shops, along with hotels, rooms, and tavernas may be found, as well as a small harbour from which day trips by boat to Rethimnon may be taken; the third cove, known as Paradise Beach, is by far the best for swimming. It does, however, become overcrowded at the height of the season.

Bali Beach

Nestling in the surrounding mountains of the bay of Bali you will find the coastal village of the same name 34 km east of Rethymno. Visitors may choose from which of the small inlets to enjoy bathing at organised beaches. The area offers a large number of tavernas, hotels and rooms.
