Megali Glyfada. A sheltered bay on the northern part of Amorgos, one hour walk from Tholaria village. There is not a visible path all the way, but the beach is big and sandy.

MIKRI GLYFADA (Beach) THOLARIA
Mikri Glyfada. A small bay north west of Tholaria village, with fantastic sandy and pebble beach. It can be reached in half hour's walk from Tholaria, through a rocky path, used by locals to go fishing. Incredible wild beauty can be enjoyed at this amazing gorge.

Inaccessible beaches can be visited by boat. Daily boat trips to the beaches of Iraklia and beaches of nearby islands are organized at very reasonable prices. Waters are safe, shallow and crystal clear.
