Agia Vlacherna

AGIA VLACHERNA (Village) KARPENISSI
The route (from Fidakia) toward the village is gorgeous (dirt road). The village settlements (Vamvakies, Abelia) are near Kremaston lake. A noteable spot of natural beauty is "Paliogonia - Helidona" at an altitude of 1500-1980m. The ruins of an ancient castle are near the village.

Aroniada

ARONIADA (Settlement) KARPENISSI
The remains of a fortress and unexplored ancient graves in the settlement of Aroniada. The river Megdovas flows southwest of the settlements, on which activities such as canoing, kayaking and rafting take place.

Fidakia

FIDAKIA (Village) KARPENISSI
Fidakia could just be the most beautiful village of Euritania as regards the functionality, structure and appearance of the housing development, stone houses, cobbled and stone streets. It is rumoured that ancient Oihalia was located here. The church of "Geniseos tis Theotokou" (birth of the Virgin) is found at the village center. There are traces of a fortress near the village, in the area of Kastri, as well as untouched artifacts from an ancient settlement. Leaving the village towards Agia Vlaherna and after 3 klm of dirt road, we find "Tsagaralona", a point which offers a panoramic view of Kremaston lake. This area has been landscaped and there is a spring and benches shaped out of large stones.

Kalesmeno

Karpenissi

KARPENISSI (Town) EVRYTANIA
Karpenissi is the capital of the County, built on the southern slopes of Timphristos, at an altitude of 1000m. The Municipality of Karpenissi is comprised of the following Municipal Divisions: Karpenissi (Gorgianades), Agios Andreas, Agia Vlaherna, Agios Nikolaos, Voutiro, Kalesmeno, Korishades, Miriki, Paparoussi, Pavlopoulo, Sella (Milia), Stefani, Stenoma and Fidakia.
Karpenissi is the only urban area of the County. It's enchanting and picturesque location make it ideal for winter and summer vacations. The continually developing tourist infrastructure, the traditional hostels, the local cuisine and night life create a perfect base of operations for every visitor who wishes to get to know the beauties of the wider area.

Koryschades

KORYSCHADES (Village) KARPENISSI
The village school houses a museum of National Resistance. In the "Koumassia" area there is an old monastery built in 1650. In the village one can find old manor houses and the church of Agios Athanassios (1865). From the village square we can follow some easy routes either on foot or by car through wooded roads and reach Koumassion Monastery, Brisi Galanou and Agios Ioannis.

Voutiro

VOUTYRO (Village) KARPENISSI
Voutiro, a Euritanian village in which the largest stone church of the county is located, Agia Paraskevi built in the Byzantine style (1926).
