A particularly attractive and friendly village, at 11 km from the port of Parikia. It is in the island's hinterland and the most mountainous village on Paros, built among green hills with a superb view towards the sea. It is a predominantly traditional locality with quaint narrow alleyways, paved archways, squares and numerous small churches from the 15th and 16th centuries, each one of historical interest.
