It is an early christian three-aisled basilica of the second half of the 6th century. On the central aisle, one can see the mosaic floor. It belongs to the type of the basilica with oblique aisle and narthex.
From 1974 till 1989 the 13th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities organized an excavation on the site.
The consolidation works and the mosaic' s restoration are completed. The site has been fencend and is protected by a shelter.
