Municipality of Parakambylia

The Municipality of Parakambylia was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 10 Municipal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Agalianos,
2. Agios Vlasios,
3. Ambelia,
4. Kyparissos,
5. Pentakorfon,
6. Potamoula,
7. Sargiada,
8. Sidira,
9. Chouni,
10. Psilovrachos.
Municipality seat is Ano Agios Vlassios, village of Agios Vlassios municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 3411 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
