KYPARISSIA (Municipality) MESSINIA
The Municipality of Kyparissia was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 11 Municipal Districts, the former municipality of:
0 1. Kyparissia
and the former communities of:
1. Armenii,
2. Vrysses,
3. Mouriatada,
4. Myron,
5. Xirokambos,
6. Perdikonerion,
7. Raches,
8. Spilia,
9. Stassion,
10. Faraklada.
Municipality seat is Kyparissia, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 7507 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
