The Community of Tripylia was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 7 Communal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Kalogeression,
2. Latzounaton,
3. Lypoudession,
4. Raptopoulon,
5. Rodia,
6. Sellas,
7. Tripyla.
Community seat is Raptopoulo, village of the homonymous communal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 800 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
