KRANONAS (Municipality) LARISSA
The Municipality of Kranonas was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 9 Municipal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Agios Georgios,
2. Agii Anargyri,
3. Vounena,
4. Doxaras,
5. Kranon,
6. Kyparissos,
7. Mavrovounion,
8. Mikron Vounon,
9. Psychikon.
Municipality seat is Agii Anargyri, village of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 3275 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
