The Municipality of Tsotilion was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 19 Municipal Districts, the former municipality of

and the former communities of:

2. Agii Anargyri,
3. Avgerinos,
4. Damaskinia,
5. Dafni,
6. Dichimaronm,
7. Dragassia,
8. Zoni,
9. Klissoria,
10. Koryfi,
11. Kriminion,
12. Liknades,
13. Louvri,
14. Morfi,
15. Plakida,
16. Polykastanon,
17. Rodochorion,
18. Chryssavgi.
Municipality seat is Tsotilion, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 4994 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
