Kythira Airport
Kythira Airport is located in Sympetra area, close to Friligianika village. The distance from Kythira town is 17 km. The first landing was on a small dirt, then, road took place on December 20, 1971. As year, however, of airport formal operation is 1972.
The new runway, 1480m x 30m its size, opened in 1988 and the new premises, lying in a total area of 1720m, run since 2003.
According to a statement issued by Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority the operation hours of Kythira Airport from 3.29.2015 to 10.24.201 are:
