ITA Airways (AZ)

ITA Airways is the new National Airline of Italy, 100% owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. Its first flight took off on 15 October 2021. It has a fleet of 65 aircraft, comprising of 14 wide body (8 Airbus A330 & 6 Airbus A350-900) and 51 narrow body (4 Airbus A220-300, 17 Airbus A319 & 30 Airbus A320). During the winter season 2023, it flies to 51 destinations, out of which 9 Intercontinental, 22 International and 20 Domestic. The Intercontinental destinations served by ITA Airways are New York, Miami, Boston, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Tokyo Haneda, New Delhi & Maldives. In addition to the 9 Intercontinental routes, service from Rome Fiumicino to Washington will start on June 02, 2023, to San Francisco on July 01 and to Rio de Janeiro from October 29, 2023.

From Greece, ITA Airways currently operates 13 weekly flights from Athens to Rome Fiumicino, while during the summer season it will operate 3 daily flights and from August 03, 26 weekly flights ensuring convenient connections to all destinations of its network.
