Ktima Katsarou

The KATSAROS ESTATE is located in Krania Olympos and is the creation of Dimitris Katsaros, a doctor from Larissa. The venture began in the early 80s. On the slopes of lower Olympus, where the stone-built village Krania is perched at an altitude of 700 meters, the vine has always had its natural place.

We seek through our products to capture the special characteristics of the area (terroir) where our vineyards are located, because we must not forget that great wines are made in the vineyard and are usually the result of long-term work and research.

THE PROPERTY VINEYARD OF 90 ACRES is cultivated according to organic farming standards and is located at an altitude between 650 and 820 meters. The varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Xinomavro.

KATSAROS ESTATE WINERY is a completely modern winery equipped with the best available today in the field of winemaking. The winery can be visited and has tasting rooms.
