The Gr.
Vourkas Mansion, a 18th c. building of interest mainly on account of this
architecture,
has been declared a historical monument. Its precinct and countryard are preserved,
and it is a typical example of Macedonian urban architecture. Inside the building
there are some interesting wooden
decorated ceilings, and build - in cupboards (mousantres).
There is no organized display in the mansion. In it are kept a large
number of marble architectural members, mosaics from Komanos and other parts of
the country of portable icons and liturgical books from Pyrgoi and Aiane
in the country.
