Taiwan Visitors Association is non-profit private-sector organization established on November 29, 1956. It has 3 principle aims:
To serve as a middleman between government and private sectors in the travel industry;
To promote both domestic and international tourism;
To engage in research work related to the advancement of travel industry and submit the result thereof to the government for consideration and acceptance.
