Theopetra Estate - Tsililis

In 1996, Tsililis family has created an icon vineyard. Today, the vineyard of Theopetra Estate covers 15 hectares situated in the east of Meteora, on hilly slopes around the prehistoric cave of Theopetra.

The white varieties are cultivated in areas of limestone. The resulting wine is characterized by high acidity and minerality. White varieties: Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, Chardonnay, Vermentino. The red grape varieties are grown in vineyards with clay-sand composition, that produce wines with complex aromas, rich ripe tannins and balanced acidity. Red varieties: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Limniona, Xinomavro, Vlachiko.

Located in Raxa, Trikala, the boutique winery is surrounded by the mountain peaks and hills of Antichasia and Pindos and the Litheos River, overlooking the rocks of Meteora and the cave of Theopetra.

Guided Tours at Τsilili Distillery and Theopetra Estate takes about 45 minutes and are conducted upon request.
