Lighthouse Anteros

The lighthouse was constructed in 1890 at the Chiliomili cape, at the coastline of Maliakos gulf. The height of the iron tower is 8 meters and its focal plane 10 meters. According to the tradition, the cape is located in a distance of 1000 miles from Istanbul, and that explains its name (Chilio=1000 & Mili=Mile). It’s just 2 meters above the sea and has easy access, insomuch it’s close to O.T.E. establishments after Kammena Vourla village.
