Potami, meaning river in Greek, is one of the most popular beaches in Southern Evia. It got its name from the river that crosses Platanistos Village and flows through the settlement. The beach is mostly sandy but there are parts with small pebbles. It is an non organized beach, 1 km long and visitors can be buy any provisions they may need from the taverns near by.
