An archaeological collection existed in Chaironeia since 1870. Because
of the increasing bulk of the archaeological finds a Museum was necessary, which was build by the Archaeological Society and was inaugurated in 1907.
The Museum comprises:

Epigraphic collection

A clay model of a house, from the neolithic settlement at Magoula
Balomenou, Chaironeia.
