Lighthouse Prassonissi

The French Company of Ottoman Lighthouses constructed the lighthouse in 1863. The tower height is 14 meters and its focal plane 65 meters. In 1947, it was added to the Greek Lighthouses Network and was rebuilt in 1996. It is located at the southern side of Rodos island, at the Prassonissi cape, one of the most popular windsurfing area in Europe.
