The coastal village of Acherounes is very close to the port of Skyros, Linaria and 10 km far from Chora. It is popular for its crystal clear waters and sandy beach. Being on the western side of the island it is protected by the winds, making it ideal for families. Along the beach there are coffee shops and snack bars.
