General Information
T.R.A.M. was established in 2001, as a subsdiary of Attiko Metro and in fact is in charge for operation and management of 3 lines of Athens Tram. Company is responsible for the designing, developing, operating & managing of modern urban Tram. Tram has 3 routes:
- Syntagma - SEF (Aristotelis)
- Syntagma - Asklipiio Voulas (Thoukydidis)
- SEF - Asklipiio Voulas (Platonas)
It has 48 stations with seats and overhead covers for the waiting areas, a visual and speaker type of information system, ticket issuance and validation machines, housing for the electronic equipment, announcement boards with informative material (i.e. maps), a clock, waste disposal containers, lighting and closed circuit tv.

Fines Office
Fines office is located in the Kerameikos station, at the area of the ticket office that is situated at the exit towards Tehnopolis / Gazi.

Passengers Obligations
- In the trains smoking, eating & drinking are not allowed.
- To disembark press the button located next to the door, and once the tram has stopped press the green button located on the door.
- Throw garbages, put stickers, drawing grafiti etc. at the stations and trains are not allowed.
- Pets' transfer is permitted only in their special transportation boxes (Law 3082/2002).
- Bicycles' transfer is allowed within Tram, in every station. Must be only two bikes in a train and use the train's last door. Passengers transfer bikes could move them on feet.
- There aren't toilets.
- There are no Left Luggage Facilities.
- Access to the tram by handicapped persons is easy since the floor of the tram and the platform is at the same level and there is no step in between.
- Access to the stations is via ramps, which in turn facilitate them.
- There are special seats inside the tram which have been specially designed to better service the specific passengers.
- Persons who have vision problems move through a specific relief surfaces at the stops and there are special sound signals inside the tram during the opening and closing of the doors.
- Tram train's interior is equipped with screens, which indicate the specific stop in order to facilitate persons with hearing problems.
- Tram operators are specially trained so they can respectively satisfy the needs and service the Physically Challenged persons.

Operating hours & tickets
Tram operates daily from 05:30 a.m. to 01:00 a.m. On Friday and Saturday 05:30 a.m. to 02:30 a.m.
Someone could have tram's ticket either from ticket's counters (there only in a few stations) either from automatic ticket machines, which are in every station. The single tram ticket costs 1,20€. Tickets' fares are as below:
- Single ticket: 1,20€
- Reduced single ticket: 0,60€
- Single ticket for all transfers: 1,40€ (lasts 1:30 hour and could be used in every transport except from/to airport and to bus E22)
- Weekly ticket: 14€ (except from/to airport and to bus E22)
- Daily ticket: 4€ (except from/to airport and to bus E22)
